WTCM PRESENTED WITH PROCLAMATION FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY 

On May 7, 2024, the World Trade Center Miami (WTCM) was presented by Miami-Dade County’s Mayor, County Commissioners, and leadership from the County’s International Trade Consortium with an official Proclamation commemorating May as World Trade Month.

STATE OF THE PORTS & TABLETOP EXPO
RESCHEDULED TO NEW DATE IN JUNE

The WTCM State of the Ports Luncheon Presentation, originally planned for Thursday, May 23rd, has been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. The event is now scheduled for Wednesday, June 5th, at the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon, the initial venue choice. READ MORE

The WTCM recently announced the findings of the 2023 Economic Impact Study for the World Trade Center Miami Trade Shows which illustrate the vital role that WTCM plays as a key economic driver in the region. The analyses highlight the benefits derived by the two main trade shows: the Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference and the Air Cargo Americas/Supply Chain Americas Show and Exhibition. WTCM TRAVELS TO BRAZIL & ARGENTINA 

In Brazil, the WTCM received a warm welcome by
ABIMDE – Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança in Brazil.


The U.S. Department of Commerce, in partnership with the World Trade Center Miami, on May 8 met at ABIMDE’s headquarters in São Paulo, to present a proposal for participation in the WTCM Aerospace Defense Americas Conference & Expo in 2025. The CEO of WTCM, Ivan Barrios, and other authorities were welcomed by the executive president of ABIMDE, Aderico Mattioli. ABIMDE represents the interests of the defense and security industries in Brazil.

In Argentina, our CEO Ivan Barrios and COO Alice Ancona were recently engaging with government officials, industry associations, and companies to promote participation in the Argentina pavilion at the Americas Food and Beverage Show.
