World Trade Center Miami Welcomes 2024 Board of Directors

Ariel Diaz, new WTCM Board Member

With the start of the new calendar year, the World Trade Center Miami (WTCM) welcomes its 2024 Board of Directors. New to the Board is Ariel Diaz.

Mr. Diaz is the Managing Director of Regulatory and Government Affairs for the FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, headquartered in Miami, Florida. Mr. Diaz is an attorney with over 19 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry and has worked most of his career on legal and regulatory matters involving the LAC region. In addition to his role in regulatory and government affairs, Mr. Diaz also heads the Legal Compliance function for the FedEx Express LAC region.

International Women’s Achievement Awards Luncheon Set for March 15th


The WTCM and South Florida’s international business community will be celebrating the 20th Annual International Women’s Achievement Award on March 15, 2024 at the Biltmore Coral Gables. Being honored will be five extraordinary women who understand the importance of trade for the community. This award recognizes exemplary women and their role and leadership in international business or trade, their commitment to advancing relations between our community, state and/or the U.S. & other countries as well as their role in creating and supporting jobs and fostering economic development. America’s Food & Beverage Show & Conference On Course For Record Attendance

With advance exhibit sales well underway, the 28th edition of the WTCM Americas Food & Beverage Show and Conference (AF&B) is set to take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center on September 16-18, 2024. Speculation is already estimating a turnout of some 9,000 to 10,000 people, or a 30 percent increase over last year’s record of 7,300 attendees.
